lab QMA Training

This course meets once in person on a scheduled Saturday for 8 hours. All other days are online. If you are not a SELF-MOTIVATED learner, we suggest you wait for our full in-person class.

In order to sign up for the QMA course, the student must:

Be a current CNA and have worked at least 1,000 hours in the last 2 years.

Be at least 18 years of age.

Provide proof of high school diploma or equivalent.

Be in good standing on the ISDH aide registry.

In Indiana, it is required that a prospective QMA take a 100-hour course that consists of 60 hours of classroom training and teaching, followed by 40 hours of hands-on clinical experience. Once the course is completed, the student will take a written exam administered by Ivy Tech Community College.
